Monica Pope's GREEN PLUM COOKING SCHOOL at the Midtown Farmers Market
Every week, you can learn how to make simple, tasty meals with the local produce and products you'll find at our city's farmers markets. Chef Monica Pope conducts a FREE cooking class every Saturday, during the Midtown Farmers Market, in the upstairs room at t'afia. Monica is using her own digital cookbook, "Eat Where Your Food Lives" (now available at www.ChefMonicaPope.com) -- and what's currently available at the farmers markets -- as inspiration. TO ATTEND A CLASS Tickets are available beginning at 9am the morning of the class at the top of the stairs (inside the restaurant). Even though the class is FREE, you do need a ticket to attend. (Your donations are greatly appreciated and help keep Green Plum Cooking School sustainable and free. All donations go towards the purchase of items used during class from our farmers market vendors) Classes begin promptly at 9:30 am and can accommodate 40 guests.
